A slightly lower value for money rating for our second stay than the first, as the price per night had gone up by about £80. Presumably due to time of booking and/or weekends vs week days, but nevertheless

What was the highlight of Hotel The Celestine Tokyo Shiba
We enjoyed our stay, reception was particularly attentive and a credit to the hotel.
The room was a expected, large with a great view across the city. Location of the hotel proved to be a good choice. Buffet breakfast was well presented. We arrived before lunch and reception was most helpful with taking our luggage and then having it placed into our room.
Dinner in the cafe area, adjacent to reception was ordinary. We were told that ordering a steak would take 40 minutes to deliver, urged to order something else. Staff was okay.

Exceptional
The property was so nice and clean. It is a very classy place, I felt the need to be dressed nicely. The free snacks and drinks were very nice. It was very close to Tokyo tower. If your mode of travel is by taxi they have a taxi pickup and drop off spot.

What was the highlight of Hotel The Celestine Tokyo Shiba
Very Good
Good location and great view of Tokyo cityscape. The room was little bit small with not a lot of wiggle room for luggage. Room had everything I needed. About 5-10 minute walk to train stations dependent on where you’re going.
Not great room temperature control and room airflow. Somewhat stuffy. Can take a while for temperature to match thermostat. During the day, the room can get very warm if curtains are open. Recommend to have curtains closed during the day when you’re out.
